Holiday Hectic

Things have been extremely hectic with the holidays rapidly approaching! I have been busy working and making glasses for my Etsy shop so please bear with me on not updating these past few weeks. I will start the updates as soon as things get moving in a more consistent way! Until then I am working on a project of scarves and gloves to add to my Etsy shop and I am so excited!

I also think I may have to pick up the relaxing hobby of Crocheting again. Any other hobbies that may be a good alternative for stress relief? lol

Ballerina Beauties

Okay for a girl who never took Ballet in her life! I am a whore for Ballet Flats ! lol I love them and cannot get enough of them. In Fact, GAP now has these amazing City Flats that are so comfortable and they adapt to your foot and you can even fold them up and put them in an adorable pouch for when you are on the go. You must check them out!

I just came across these beauties at Karmaloop.com (one of my fave sites):
I Love these Clear flats with the lace detail! Soooo Cute! Originally $90 and now $51-$58!

Faux Fur

As you may have noticed, Fur Vests are EVERYWHERE. I have to admit that I have caved to the trend. Last year I bought a cropped one from American Eagle that was reasonable as well as one from a boutique that was fur in the front and sweater/knit in the back. Love the look. But just the other day my dad bought me a lovely Michael Kors faux fur vest that was about $130. Not too bad. I compiled some others that I thought were nicely made.

1.) BB Dakota Ashland vest $80
2.) French Connection "Fancy" fur vest $368
3.) Ecote Faux Fur vest $98
4.) DKNYC Faux Fur vest $159
5.) Halston Heritage Faux Fur Vest $375

Cullen Makeover

So My lovely and creative friend Kaitlynn has created a Cullen-esque photo of me. Perfect for the Halloween Holiday. She is always doing cool effects to her photos and then she did one to mine and send it to me. I love it and couldn't help but laugh and want to share.

DIY Give it a Try

I am an avid reader and lover of books! And when I was browsing the internet, checking out blogs, I found this lovely DIY project. A Book Vase. That is right, A Book Vase. Check out this charming little project! I found it on lillyella.
Although I find it hard to cut up any of my books I think I may just have to try this. All you need is an unwanted hard cover book!

Photo Inspiration

So I was browsing my files looking for a photo and then I saw a bunch of things I have saved over time. So I figured I would upload some of the photos I have that are more interior design related. Perhaps it will help with some inspiration to create a new room. Unfortunately I can't source the photos but here they are:

Anna Sui Fall 2010 RTW!

I love this fall collection. The mix of textures, patterns and colors. This collection reminds me of a chic interpretation of Peruvian attire mized with a retro flair... Do you see what I mean? Nonetheless it is all GORGEOUS. Loving it!

^She looks very Alice in Wonderland-ish lol. I love the look. The patterned tights and print dresses seem to pair nicely.

Love the Crochet overlay. Adore this look!
 Ahhh LOVEEE

Some People Lack Creativity

I have been making my sunglasses and glasses for my Etsy shop and then a fan sent me a link to another shop on Etsy that had been copying my crystal nerdy glasses. It is really annoying but you know what? I think mine look better, cleaner, and more meticulously done.

I make it a point to use authentic swarovski crystals that are hand placed delicately and precisely. I am not charging astronomical amounts for them either. I guess she couldn't come up with something on her own. I am glad I could help inspire someone lol. Anyways on a happier note I am glad that I have fans who send me messages about this. My response is :

Often Imitated but Never Duplicated!

You be the judge:
