ASOS overload

I Love ASOS, here are a few reasons why:

This dress has the cutest cut, and although I hate butterfly patterns I do like this one because you can't tell that there are butterflies all over the fabric. =)

Then I spotted this great Tshirt dress at ASOS that has a watercolor/graffiti-esque look to it!

Absolutely love the look of this dress and think it would look amazing with open toe bootie like the Sam Edelman Queenie in Black.

Then the structure of the hem on the dress below is eye-catching and it is made in a great Coral color.

I LOVE this Dress!! It comes in Black as well. $94 for this unique dress!

And as we all know that the trends include chains, studs and spikes and such these days. So for those who love chain, this dress is adorable. I like the use of thin chains for a delicate fringed look.

Buy it Here.

And lastly I love this loose-fit dress that would be great for spring.

Sam Edelman Booties!

LOVING these Sam Edelman Queenie Booties!
They come in black as well but I prefer the Pewter color.
You can purchase them here.

Oh Domino

I miss Domino Magazine soo much! Today I was online looking for some interior design inspiration and thought, If only Domino was still on newstands but sadly it isn't. And worse is that I lost my box full of them during a move. So needless to say I was disappointed and I went to Google and found a few photos after typing in 'Domino Magazine'.

Here are a few:

I love this little reading nook below.

Fortunately there is still the Domino book of Decorating that can still be purchased in bookstores.  I think I will have to make a trip to Borders or Barnes&Noble to buy it.

The Notebook Journey

Have you ever taken a peek at the Post Secret books?

I have this book sitting in my room. It is definitely a great conversation starter.
It includes a compilation of anonymous postcards revealing secrets.
It is definitely a great book to have.

Naturally when I read about this notebook that was traveling the world, providing pages for people to express themselves freely with the use of words and drawings, I HAD to be a part of it!

These Boots are Made for Walking...

I love checking out various blogs and finding people with similar interests and upon browsing I came across this adorable blog called Skunkboy Creatures. She had a post about these fabulous boots What I Wore Catchup.

These versatile boots can be worn over the knee or slouchy like they are seen in the pic below:

They come in the colors: Gray, Black, Pink, and Brown.

Beach Waves...

I have long hair, that isn't too thick but has a slight wave. I used to buy a product by John Frieda that was called Beach Blonde Ocean Waves Sea Spray. Unfortunately it has been discontinued and I have been saving my last bottle of it for awhile now. It has been the only beach spray that has really worked in my hair.

I have tried tons of products, including Bumble and Bumble surf spray. The surf spray I find leaves my hair a bit dry or dull. Whereas the Beach Blonde spray used to condition it as well as maintain the waves.

I checked ebay for the spray I used to use, and they are selling it for 50 -60$ a bottle! Insane! So I am on the hunt for a new beach spray. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have come across a few online that I am curious about and one of them is the David Babaii Bohemian Beach Spray below:

YumYum

Its about 9:30 in the morning and I have been awake since 7:30, and strangely enough I had Udon noodle soup for breakfast. What is wrong with me?! lol It was very good but for some reason I have been having "dinner-like" items for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. But I think my challenge for the week will be making homemade Udon noodle soup, with Udon noodles from scratch. I have seen them being made before so I think I am up for the Challenge. I'll post pictures to let you see the process and my possible failure or success!

Right now I am looking for online grocers for Japanese foods. Fortunately I found quite a few! Here are the ones I have found so far!

A loss...

Sadly the world has lost an amazing & influential designer this morning. Lee "Alexander" McQueen passed away in his home in London, and it's very unfortunate. His work has been far from conventional. His creative ability has made dramatic impacts on the fashion world. Creative genius like his isn't overlooked nor abundant.

Time is Ticking Away....

Before I know it I will be 24! This month will fly and then soon enough the year will fly by as the others have. I have always been fond of jewelry and accessories but surprisingly I have never been too fond of wearing a watch until recently! A few months ago I fell in love with Toy Watch brands watches. I want a white watch. I like how its bright and eye catching. Here is one of my faves...

Then there are the watches that are much more than just watches. They are fashionable accessories that pose as wrap bracelets as well. Here are a few that caught my eye!

Sorry there were too many I fell in love with! They are reasonably priced too! around $99! Love them. Check them out Here!!

Art in the Family...

Its a new year with new ventures. Right now I have been trying to focus on getting a small business together because I need to be able to work on my own time and get back into school. Following a work schedule at a job that pays poorly is not really what I want for myself anymore. I am a pretty creative person and I am always sketching new things and writing new ideas. I dibble dabble in everything from painting to writing.

So over the years I have made sketches of jewelry ideas that I would love to see made and finally I think that will be happening. My cousin is in school for jewelry and metal-smith so I will be collaborating with her on some projects.  Below are a few of the things she has done for school projects

A silver ring she made for a school project.

A brooch she made with bronze and rattle snake bones.
Not your traditional pieces to say the least.

This is a Bronze Fox Fur Brooch that she made as well.

I am excited to get things going.
Let's see where this year brings Me.
