Tanning Towelettes...

Okay so there are always opinions out there on tanning and whether or not you should do it or not. I don't mind tanning here in there in absolute moderation. But I do understand the dangers of it as well as its aging properties. So I have opted for some sunless tanners in the absence of sunlight and indoor tanning.

Now I tried a product called Tan Towels. I was a bit apprehensive at first for fear of streaking or uneven distribution. BUT I was pleasantly surprised by the results. They are individually wrapped towelettes that feel like a baby wipe but a bit thinner. Kind of like a wet towelette you receive at a restaurant. They don't smell bad and they apply evenly and I have had NO issues with streaking or orange coloring. After one use I looked tan and people actually asked me if I went to the tanning salon!

They are a bit pricey but worth it!

Christmas came and a friend of mine knew I swore by these tan towels but because they couldn't find them they purchased the Loreal brand for me to try in hopes that they would work just as well and for a cheaper price!

Now I was thrilled because the towelettes by Loreal were softer like a baby wipe, thicker and larger for more coverage. Now unfortunately they left me streak and splotchy even after exfoliation! I woke up today with white spots and smudges after using a second towelette to even out the first application. It was terrible! Looks as if I have ringworm on my arms and legs!! I am soo disappointed because it not only smudges easily but it gives a dirty appearance. Not happy with this product but I hate to waste so I am hoping I can apply my previous ones after to even it out. We shall see.

I am not going to recommend the Loreal towelettes but perhaps someone else has had better luck with these?
